DropConvert is designed to convert files privately on your Mac. The app does not collect personal data, require an account, track you, or upload your files.

Files and conversions

Files you select are processed locally on your device. DropConvert does not send your files, file contents, file names, or conversion results to the developer or to a cloud service.

Data collection

The DropConvert app does not include advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, or user accounts. The developer does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information through the app.

Permissions

DropConvert accesses only the files and save locations you choose through macOS. This access is used solely to perform the conversion you request and save the resulting file.

Website

The DropConvert website does not use advertising trackers. Like most hosted websites, its hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. The developer does not use this information to build advertising profiles or sell personal data.

Children's privacy

DropConvert does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if DropConvert's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
